When Andrea's son, Eddie, gets hooked on a television show, he REALLY gets hooked. So there was no question what this year's birthday party theme would be...Octonauts!
When guests arrived, they were invited to grab a mask and become one of the characters from the show. They could then take a photo in the photo area and make a bracelet with charms of the characters.
From there it was off to outdoor fun! With all of Lou & Pepper's parties, we make sure there are enough activities for all of the guests, no matter their age. The playground, bounce house, inflatable slide and ball pit took care of physical fun, while the balloon artist entertained guests with her phenomenal sea creatures and other creations.
The décor was centered around the underwater world of the Octonauts…lots of ocean colors and sealife. We always like to include something living in our design and usually that means plants or flowers but this time, given the theme, it meant live fish centerpieces.
The cake and sweets left no question about what the theme was with character cake pops, hand drawn Professor Inkling mousse cups, character cookies and an amazing ocean themed cake.
Like most Moms, Andrea hates to give a lot of "party junk" for party favors. Instead, as guests left they were given a doctor bag like Peso the Penguin filled with a vinyl sea creature and an underwater themed activity book.
The party was a huge success and a whole lot of fun…Until the next Adventure!
